The Year so Far

It seems like this year is going great so far. The kids really seem to be enjoying themselves and learning many new things.

Native American Projects

The kids have worked very hard on their study of Native Americans. They have created home projects which are displayed in the library of Chandlers School. There is everything from totem poles to model villages, and murals to winter count projects. They worked exteremely hard on them and I am very proud of each and every one of them. Great job

Excellent Work on Multimedia Projects!

I just want to say great job to all students who worked hard on their geography powerpoints. They did an AWESOME job! I am proud of each and every one of you. Next, we will be starting our rest of the year span with the study of U.S. History. First, the kids will focus on Native Americans and then move into Native American cultural regions of the U.S. They will also make their first photo stories and those will hopefully be displayed on the class blog. Great job everyone and keep up the good work!

GRADE Testing

Starting on Tuesday, August 19th, students will be GRADE testing (Reading Assessment). Please see to it that your child gets plenty of sleep and eat a well-balanced breakfast all week. Thanks!!!

Geography PowerPoints

Also, students are beginning to complete their geography powerpoints on the regions of the United States. The kids have worked very hard on them and I'm extremely proud of them. Good work!!!

Newspaper Articles

The majority of our class has just finished their natural disaster newspaper articles. Each student will receive a newspaper/booklet of the published copies for each student. They did a fantastic job!!! Keep up the good work!
